“Why do they use so much blood? It ruins the realism don’t you think?”
"You can't cut the balls off Superman!"
The bear stank. It stank of sweat, muscle, wet fur, blood and shit. It stank worse than Jack and they hadn't let Jack wash or change his clothes for three days. Three days of wandering the Alaskan plains, while they watched and waited for a beast to catch his scent.
"You want a story? I got a story to tell…" Telling stories was a nightly tradition at Camp Victory. Every evening they would huddle round the campfire, burn marshmallows and sausages, play guitar, sing songs and as the embers crackled lower the horror stories would come out.
"In all creatures great and small there exists the spirit of athletic competition…"
The idea was so simple, it was genius. Pure, elegant, cheap. Just what Brewster was looking for - he could feel the lightbulb above his head heat up.
